From a disgruntled employee with 50% attendance record - People who are happy at work don’t feel as compelled to write things as unhappy people. Unhappy people often feel a need to vent and purge, and so it is with this review.
Anyone who has worked for an internationally-focused company knows of “growing pains” and challenges. Project Timelines are tight, customers are demanding, with many interrelated dependencies. If one piece comes up short all subsequent pieces must bear the brunt of a delay. We build amazing, cool, extraordinary products. Sophisticated, complicated products require a lot of attention to detail. Errors could cost lives!
Not everyone is cut out for this kind of work. For some it’s exciting, for others frustrating. We make it clear to applicants during our interview process that this is a fast-paced, professional work environment.
What should an employer do when an employee reports to work only 50% of the time and project timelines are at stake? …often not calling in to notify of being late, or not coming in at all? Should this kind of behavior recommend micro-managing and activity reports? If not that, then what?
We are a Presidential Award Winning Firm; a distinction earned only through strong success. We have many happy employees here, some for 10+ yrs. We have many successful projects and many return customers.
We will continue to do our best to address short-comings and foster an environment that yields a rewarding professional life as well as personal life for the betterment of our Firm and our valued awesome Team.
