Pros

For the most part, same level peers are very nice to work with. Middle managers seem like they try to care about their employees but are afraid to ruffle any upper management feathers.

Cons

If someone had told me what this place is really like, I would never have accepted the job. First, you have to clock in and out every day. Even if you're salaried. Presenteeism is the name of the game at this company. You get three sick days per year, which you have to accrue. So, if you're sick for more than one day at the beginning of the year, you have to take unpaid leave. No exceptions. You are not treated as an adult, instead you are micromanaged to the point that you feel parented and even spied upon. The CEO couldn't care less about his employees. Oh, and the five-star reviews about ComPsych are posted on Glassdoor by the human resources department. They are not honest reviews!

Pros

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
