Pros
The culture at Color is super unique. Most folks are extremely talented, but more importantly, enthusiastic about their work. Whether they're genetic counselors, software folks, biologists and scientists, content writers, designers, or HR, people at Color care deeply about their work. They're also incredibly smart, so I learned a lot from my coworkers. I hope future places I work at have the openness and ease of talking + making friends across different company teams and roles. Great place where you can grow and lead as an engineer and learn about the dysfunctional American healthcare industry that Color is trying to make a little bit more functional.
Cons
- location: office wasn't in the city, but the commute from SF was a reverse-commute so traffic was rarely really bad. - you'll look back fondly on your time here and compare your future workplaces to Color's culture.
