Pros

Great organization that provides need for children with disabilities. Staff are trained every year to handle any giving situation with students.

Cons

They pay the associates next to nothing. Where as most of the Asdociates could qualify for public assistance! They don't tell new hires what their in for, and some have left for lunch and never came back! They think because they contribute to your health care, you should take the lack of support and keep it moving! But in retrospect, you pay the majority of your health insurance, because they have you paying a premium and a copay, with a deductible that a single can not ever reach. A college education in any other field than education is not respected. There are no women of color in administration or supervisory role. So, transitioning from the classroom to an technical or administrative job is difficult, if at all possible, especially If you spent your last 5 years in a classroom. The tuition reimbursement works out for the teachers, but not the associate teachers, so if you think you can go back to school or finishing school think twice before joining the Colonial I.U. 20

Pros

Good benefits for a local company

Cons

Administrators are more supportive of the parents and students than the employees. Hire non-certified teachers to teach classrooms and do not support the teachers they have when injuries or issues arise. Administrators are worried about lawsuits from Parents who ruled the organization.
