Everything else! No sufficient training, no breaks, pay cheque’s constantly missing money; and seriously disgusting unprofessional behaviour from the director. He would frequently have manic episodes and lash out. This included using vulgarity and slurs directed at his ‘subordinates’ as he believed everyone was below him. Frequent gossip and gaslighting from this director as well made it hard to go into work as you were legitimately not being paid enough to put up with the garbage hurled at you daily. Multiple people walked out when I worked there. Huge turnover with long standing staff and high up management, let alone the retail and reception side. Also no benefits! Even after a certain amount of months! You are paid minimum wage for the most stressful position in the entire location.
