Strong design team, with a close knit group - Technical Designer Collective Architecture Employee Review

The Collective Architecture team is one of the most creative groups I've ever worked with. The work environment is friendly and supportive and I love that the staff is so diverse. I'm always confident in recommending their design services and continue to receive positive feedback from former and current clients. Also, they have a great internship program and they have hired most of the interns full time once they graduate.

I can't think of any cons to share about Collective Architecture at this time.

Learn a lot about design and the process you go through from marketing and business development all the way through to the pre-design phase of design. You are able to come up with your own ideas for design on projects and collaborate with team memebers to work through to the construction document phase. You have one-on-one experience with both principals which is super for your growth as a designer. Other opportunities are having the ability to further your growth through joining different organizations and being part of the community, connecting with other people within the industry. There are also fun perks at the firm such as company outings and fun times out together as a group for a more team building experience. Overall, you gain a lot of experience at the firm than you would working at a larger firm.

Sometimes I would forget to eat because I enjoyed what I was doing so much. But I think that is pretty normal for everyone in the industry.
