Pros
The life insurance/benefits policy is a good deal vis-a-vis those of competitor firms Employee engagement events (admittedly, employees staffed on projects have little time for these and they seem to exist to keep the Corporate teams engaged, as another reviewer has rightly suspected too!)
Cons
Highly political environment- ratings depend on whom you know than the quality of your work. The rating process itself is poorly designed, inefficient and fraught with loopholes that allow political managers to tweak the system to their advantage. Your projects are likely to be back-end implementation work on technologies from the previous century. Little to offer by way of opportunities to learn or upskill. The firm's policy of being unconcerned so long as you're being billed doesn't help. Huge cliques of non-locals (this is the IT industry after all, be warned!). Expect slow promotions, rigged non-transparent appraisals that favour certain favourites- belonging to a certain ethnic group may work in your favour. Local graduates are hired solely to meet demands laid down by authorities and shouldn't entertain hopes of a flourishing career, unless they keep their heads down and do all that's asked of them.
