Pros

none, maybe one week they paid me what they should have, out of 12 months.

Cons

The entire process from onboarding to finish was just a nightmarish flaw. The managers try to scam you out of your paychecks, pile unbelievable and unworkable amounts of work on you and constantly berate anyone even though they're working at breakneck speed trying to accomplish the riciculous goals set by a clueless management. Such a clicquey crowd there. No on ever introduced me to anybody and my job duties kept changing on a daily basis. As I accomplished one thing, I was berated on not accomplishing the other after I was specifically told not to. Currently going through the attorney general's office to try to be reimbursed for weeks and weeks of pay that was never given to me. Just a nightmare. Don't ever deal with Cognizant.

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
