Pros
- The company is remote-friendly and provides the necessary setup to enable work for you remotely - You get to work with really smart people and you learn things with normal banter at the workplace - Everyone is passionate about software development and it's a great place to learn if you are as well - Most of the projects taken up for consulting are quite challenging and technical. So there is no dearth of interesting work. - Seniors there had always got your back if you hit any roadblock
Cons
- Feedback loops are not quite often done and it's hard to for the management to figure this out unless you about and make it visible about the kind of work you are doing. - Pay hikes are not great once you transition from amateur to more seasoned engineer. - When you work solo on a consulting project, it gets lonesome and you don't often get the feeling of being a team player.
