Small team with lots of autonomy. Hardworking group. Low egos. Lots of opportunity to lead investments since there isn't a large team or bureaucracy, and a flexible mandate. The comp is good. And the firm has been doing well, so has continued to grow, which is exciting.

Since it's a small team, a lot of the learning is self-taught. So it's important to manage up, as much as it's important to manage down. Since there aren't many people, job roles are also pretty broad - so the roles often encompass multiple roles at the same time. And also, since there isn't redundancy, there is often a lot of work during live deals etc.
