Pros

- Talented team: The people at CoMind are exceptionally smart and you’ll constantly be learning from your colleagues. - Innovative Technology: The technology is innovative and truly has the potential to change the world. If you’re passionate about working on something meaningful you’ll find it here. - Growing leadership: The new hires and promotions on the leadership team continues to impress… it’s rare to find a company at this stage with this much experience.

Cons

- Culture Isn’t for Everyone: The pace can be overwhelming. If you’re used to a more structured, slower environment, it might be tough to keep up. The level of innovation and change is constant, and some people may find it difficult to adjust. This isn’t necessarily a “bad” thing, but it’s important to recognise that the environment can be intense and isn’t suited for everyone. - Communication Can Be Disjointed: Like many startups, communication can sometimes feel a bit scattered. As the company grows and evolves quickly, it can be challenging to stay on the same page.

Pros

I’ve had a genuinely great experience working at CoMind. Even being part of the US team for a London-based company, I’ve always felt fully integrated, included, and valued. There’s a strong sense of collaboration across the entire organization—people are supportive, responsive, and clearly know what they’re doing, which makes a big difference in a fast-moving environment. The work itself is meaningful and engaging, especially if you’re interested in the intersection of clinical application and innovative technology. There’s a lot of ownership and trust given early on, which makes it a great place to grow quickly and have a real impact. Compensation is fair and competitive, and stock options help you feel invested in the company’s long-term success. It’s also been encouraging to see continued efforts to improve and expand benefits for US employees as the company grows. Overall, it’s a smart, motivated team working on something that actually matters, which makes it an exciting place to be.

Cons

As with many growing companies, some processes and infrastructure are still evolving, particularly for the US team. That said, leadership is aware of these gaps and actively working to improve them, so it feels more like growing pains than systemic issues.

Pros

Being part of the CoMind team means contributing to a medical technology which could make a real difference in the world. This sense of purpose is channeled through all work, and the talent within the team is inspiring, Regular 1-1s and check-ins are held with managers across all teams consistently - meaning you always feel heard, supported, and it is easy to flag things early. The CoMind culture more widely is currently a focus for the company as it grows. Since I have joined, new perks and benefits have been introduced including daily lunch being provided, and the flexible holiday policy has meant your work-life balance is well supported. In general, the CoMind team is genuinely friendly and welcoming with people integrating well across teams and there's a real sense of community in the office. I believe for anyone early in their career CoMind can be a great place to grow and get stuck-in. You have to be prepared to take on real responsibility early, but you learn and grow at a pace that would take years elsewhere. There are also many opportunities for undertaking training and development courses, and access to learning tools.

Cons

The pace of work can be fast, and you will be juggling priorities and responding to things at short notice but this is what can be expected at any high growth start-up. If you thrive in a more structured and slower environment this may take adjustment but for the right people these demands keep the role interesting and the right amount of challenging!
