Dear Anonymous Employee,
This is Getty and I’m the CoAssets Group CEO and Co-Founder. Firstly thank you for taking the time to write your comments. We are still a young company and all feedback (whether good or bad) are important to help make CoAssets a better work environment for our team.
I appreciate and note your comments that management should consider letting poor performers go sooner. While that is one way of looking at things, we also need to find a balance between that and giving an employee time to grow, learn (and even fail) if necessary.
To us, poor performance isn’t the deal breaker – even good talents have bad days/weeks. However, a big “no-no” for us is bad work attitude – which leads to poor performance.
At present, we have a system whereby a new hire will be assessed at the end of his/her 3month probation. The management team feels that 3months is about the right time to assess a talent’s fit into the CoAssets culture. So I hope it provides a bit more insights on what goes through the mind of the management team.
Separately, I am please to note that you are a highly engaged talent. Keep up the good work! CoAssets is a growing company and we are confident that the company will go far with more highly engaged talent like you.
