Company does not operate base on their motto. Lack of training, guidance, communication. Sale & Contracts are untouchable can do no wrong in management's eyes. Engineering & Sales lack teamwork, accountability and professionalism. Procedures are not in place in order to have adequate training. Departmentso do not work together to get the job done right. Sales & contracts do not follow through with issues in missing part information, drawings, or information needed from customers to adequately quote bill of materials. Teamwork is a foreign word to these departments. Gossip and trying to sabotage other departments is their highest priority. Previous parts quoted are incomplete, not valid or history is not in system. Which creates problems because old quotes to not match current ones. Discrepancies are not investigated to determine root cause, if sales says it's wrong then management believes them. Other departments do not work together to ensure the job is done right the first time. Sales can be late and do personal business Daily while others cannot. Favoritism is clear with this department. If their mistakes are addressed they are either overlooked or the department retaliates and the sabotages other employees. No yearly mark up on stocked parts causes loss of money for the company. Documentation received from customers are not always complete and when asked for more information sales does not go to the customer to ask for more information. Sales cares about getting the order in the system, and lacks attention to detail and knowledge of parts being procured. Many parts are rejected in quality do to parts being ordered without proper MOC's or drawing in place before the other is placed. When asked to get more information from the customer the request is ignored or followed with attitude and takes weeks or months to get correct information. There has been issues with sales & purchasing for years do to these reason. It also causes a hostel work environment. Sales & engineering lack professionalism, team building skills, and understanding of drawings. Time is wasted on email wars between departments rather than working together to find a solution. Old quotes in system are very out dated or missing which creates extra work & conflicts between departments and a resolution is rarely found. They also try to run or give direction to other departments without speaking to employees manager. Sales does not ensure all documents or information is related to other departments.
