Pros
Benefits package is good. Senior Managers are good but are not permitted to do what they should 90% of the time.
Cons
There are many challenges for an employee at this business. 1) Strategy - changes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis dependent on which member of the exec team has had the next 'big' idea. No measured approach based on what is known about customers and competitors. 2) Communication - Internally is poor departments are working on different targets, changes aren't properly announced or managed. Externally changes to the main products happen altering functionality and the customers are unaware until after the fact. 3) Staff Morale- The executive team have lost touch with what keeps a happy team. They don't think about the people. Changes, redundancies are handled in an under hand and slapdash manner. 4) Ego's of the executive - They love to work in competition with each other as opposed to together, little respect for each others area of responsibility. Ultimately leads to confusion in teams as they are pulled from pillar to post trying to keep the exec happy. Overall it is a highly stressful work environment with daily uncertainty to your position due to flip-flopping and knee jerking from one idea to the next. Beer Friday and the odd night out aren't worth all the aggro.
