Pros
- nice coworkers who are open to helping - benefits are great - WFH 100% - laptop and other equipment provided
Cons
- not as flexible as they would like you to think. They say work on your own time but have a time tracking tool that everyone has access to so coworkers are constantly being compared. The more your work, the better it is. A 10+ hour work day is not uncommon - pay is subpar in the field even when considering the benefits - team leads and managers are chosen depending on whoever is asked. Many leads are hands off and do not provide support. There is also a bias for employees among the managers. - unstable work condition -no grow for career or pay growth - given that it is a startup, their product has many flaws and you are often left redoing lots of the work -engineering team difficult to work it
