Pros
Some very talented and good to know people work here
Cons
Engineering department is managed very poorly. Newly promoted CTO and his group of Engineering Managers are clueless in their roles. Biased agenda in favour of 'yes men', where if you do not agree blindly with the CTO or managers then you are targetted to be pushed out of the company. No fairness. CTO is the worst i have ever worked under, does not understand simple things that even a graduate would... how he has become CTO is baffling. No respect for employees, even HR are in on the act when employees are targetted with abuse/false allegations and trumped up lies to force a disciplinary process to get them out the company. Incompetence is a nice way of putting it. Bullying and harrasment by CTO and engineering managers towards people they do not like is common, some people end up resigning from the hostile environment, others are forced out with lies of performance related issues. Simply put, engineering leadership is more like a gang of thugs than a professional outfit of any kind. People are considered resource and never 'people'. Backwards mentality to work processes and people management (or should i say lack of management). The hard working colleagues who have been screwed over by this gang of incompetent bullies have been some of the best in their respective roles, all targetted because the hierachy wants robots who do as they are told instead of doing the right thing.
