Pros
Great, modern office and awesome colleagues. There is a good feeling of "comradery".
Cons
It feels like we work on a big corporate company rather than a startup, and not in a good way. Management cares more about the numbers rather than the people. There is a big pressure to "perform", but at the same time there are no resources, training or benefits offered to help us perform better. Some teams are still very unstructured, with no processes, as if we were still at the first years of the company. As a result, everyone is overworked, stressed and work is never finished. Many employees are getting fired on a weekly basis, with no explanation or notice: one moment we are working together juts fine, the next they have a meeting with HR and they pack up their things and leave. Employees do not feel safe anymore, since they feel that every single mistake can get them fired. Normally, HR would be the department that employees would trust and go to when they need something. However, currently HR is the last team we trust, given their lack of communication, transparency and understanding. There are a lot of promises coming from their management, but no real results over the last year. Even when there was no real HR structure a year ago, the team was more trusted.
