Pros
Clarasys has a really nice team, there were a lot of opportunities to socialize and get to know each other. The firm also has a great work life balance and flexible PTO that you actually get to take advantage of. There is a lot of opportunity to get involved in areas you're passionate about outside of client work and ability to take on a lot of responsibility at the junior level (leading client calls, owning deliverables, selling work, etc.) The coaching scheme is really impressive - you have a senior teammate dedicated to aiding you in your career development that you meet with 1x a week, which is unique to most consulting firms. I'd highly recommend Clarasys to someone as a first consulting job or an experienced hire looking for more flexibility in their hours.
Cons
Client work wasn't very interesting or demanding in my experience, but you do have the opportunity to try different types of work versus being siloed into one practice line. This is a double-edged sword, as you end up being more of a generalist, jumping around on different types of projects versus building a solid skill set in one area. This is great if you want to stay at the firm long-term, but difficult in terms of positioning yourself for exit opportunities. Clarasys has a culture where everyone is an 'owner of the business,' and involved in decision making. This can become convoluted during tumultuous periods where you'd generally look to management for decision making and guidance.
