Very supportive administration and supervisors

Can be understaffed at times

Mostly good sergeants, hard-working deputies, good benefits through Providence or Kaiser, take home car

New management has forgotten where they came from and have driven morale into the ground. With new implementation technology, they are requiring you to do less pro-active police work with documentation to simply re-active police work with more documentation. Management will push the Peace Officers Union to think the 3 year contract is a good idea and the best we will get, but the COLA offered by the county admin is low.
