Pros

Where experienced people remain, they are very good, and want to help, but...

Cons

Significant numbers have been 'let go' in "efficiency drives", many with core knowledge of software and infrastructure. The remaining people then find their workload doubling! The only new people tend to be in management or senior management roles (I've lost count of how many times I've heard a manager say "I've been here a couple of months and still getting my feet under the table..."). Many of these new people have lasted less than 8 months. There appears to be an email from the CEO every week advising on yet another change at the top ! It also appears that every department, other than Sales, had been through these 'reviews'. So it's only a matter of time until the existing Sales teams are also reviewed...

Pros

Great mission, vision and values. After multiple years in tech and following the volatility of markets and the new trend it refreshing to be somewhere that has true purpose and impact

Cons

Nothing major to most companies. Change and transformation isn’t linear and that’s ok

Pros

FREE FOOD . You can sleep in the job , sexual harrasment or the likes is swept under the rug , you can cone and go as you please during work hours ..

Cons

During my time at Civica’s Petersburg facility, employee turnover was a constant issue. It seemed as though employees were regularly resigning or being terminated, which contributed to instability throughout the organization. The frequent departures made it difficult to maintain continuity, retain institutional knowledge, and build confidence in leadership. Morale was often low, and many employees openly expressed frustration with management practices and the overall work environment. I also observed organizational changes, including the elimination of shifts and repeated restructuring efforts, which created uncertainty among employees. In my opinion, many of these issues stemmed from inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability at various levels of management. There were situations where employees appeared to be expected to perform duties without adequate training, and there were concerns regarding whether established procedures were being followed consistently. For a company operating in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, I expected a stronger commitment to training, process discipline, and professional leadership. Instead, I frequently witnessed confusion regarding responsibilities, inconsistent decision-making, and operational inefficiencies that made it difficult for employees to succeed. While the company’s mission is commendable, the execution and workplace culture left much to be desired during my tenure.
