Pros

The office is very chic.

Cons

The first few months at ChicExecs seemed amazing however things quickly declined. From department to department the company polices vary meaning that the rules only apply to some employees and not all. Exceeding an 8 hour work day is normal and expected. The internship program has declined rapidly. While the company prides themselves in having one of the "best company cultures", they certainly do not. Not to mention, management never asks employees for feedback or suggestions. After receiving recognition in a major publication, the company perks were slowly stripped away such as having a stocked snack bar, any kind of company lunches, tv during lunch hour, etc. Common qualities or values like integrity and mutual respect are not upheld. The communication within the company is a joke- HR is extremely unresponsive. Having a suggestion or sharing new ideas was never encouraged or taken seriously. Additionally, employees concerns or suggestions are never taken seriously either. This company cut corners to get the job done and with extremely poor leadership and execution. Some leadership has very little experience and it shows. And the snack bar is maybe stocked 3 times a year? Last time they stocked it was before Christmas. 0/10, would not recommend this company to any growing professional or for an internship.

Pros

CEOs listen and care Career growth Fair compensation Hybrid to fully remote Supportive teams Overall genuinely good people Growing company

Cons

Busy work Campaign performance and client happiness is everything. This is prioritized above anything else. So if you’re good you stay. If you aren’t good, you leave upset. More social events needed for teams

Pros

I worked with people who showed up and worked hard. I did gain experience that I’ve taken with me.

Cons

I’m being honest because this experience stayed with me. The biggest issue for me was leadership and the day-to-day environment. Communication often felt discouraging instead of helpful, and feedback didn’t come across in a way that supported growth. Over time, it wears you down. There were also moments where interactions didn’t feel respectful. It could make you question yourself, even when you were doing your job and putting in real effort. That part was difficult. I showed up, did what was expected, and stayed committed. But it was hard to feel supported, and over time it became overwhelming. It had a significant impact on my mental and emotional well-being. Leaving was not only a relief, but it took time to recover from how overwhelming the experience had become. Because of my experience, I wouldn’t recommend working here. After leaving, I’ve talked with former coworkers, and those conversations helped me realize this wasn’t an isolated experience. It had a lasting impact on me and took time to recover from.
