Pros
Discounted clothing and constant opportunities to participate in employee events, receive free food, promotional items, etc.
Cons
No room for growth (even after being told there is). Management would rather hire someone new than promote from within to keep their employees paid at the lowest possible rate. No benefits except severely overpriced insurance. No paid time off. Very few holidays. HR says they want to hear how they can improve until you tell them - at which point they find a way to blame you for their poor management and then find a poor reason to either cut your responsibilities or let you go entirely. Most of all, this company only hires young females that are fresh out of college so that they can prey on their insecurities. They are made to feel as if Chic Soul is doing them a favor for hiring them, placing them in an oppressive environment that constantly belittles their talents and abilities. They are taken advantage of by being promised “promotions” for putting their other talents to use but never receive these promotions and instead do the job of a second employee for free. The CEO micro manages each and every employee (of all levels). Managers are only looking out for themselves and will use their employees as a scapegoat to save their reputation. HR is a joke.
