Pros

I work in home office. As part of the team there, I have had a great deal of encouragement, appreciation, and support. I'm able to work in a hybrid capacity and my psychological health is prioritized in ways I never thought possible with an employer. We also always go above and beyond to make sure our centers are supported through inclement events, such as recent events with Hurricane Ida impacting our Nola market with many staff having to temporarily relocate.

Cons

There is a great pressure to perform given our full risk healthcare model. This is something one should consider before signing up.

I love our how ChenMed family bands together, especially in times of crisis. The ChenMed Cares Foundation is a phenomenal initiative, helping our employees through times like Hurricane Ida and beyond! We are so incredibly happy to hear you feel supported, encouraged and appreciated! As you mentioned, our mission of rescuing medically underserved seniors comes with a lot of responsibility. Our model requires excellence day in and day out, and we absolutely appreciate all you do. Thank you!

Thank you for the 5-star review and for helping us bring more good days to our patients. We appreciate your feedback regarding center metrics. Each community presents unique circumstances, and we appreciate your recognition that success is still achievable when we support each other.

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
