Pros
Benefits package is better than most companies. The company matches up to 6% contribution for 401(k), which I find to be a great plus, and there's a good health care and dental plan. The company gives a bonus to every employee for his/her date-of-hire anniversary every year. There is also two yearly reviews with a raise that is 7% of the salary. As with most companies some of these benefits are pretty standard. On the whole I feel that upper management does a good job but, unfortunately, the same cannot be said about some managers in lower management.
Cons
-Ineffective management. -Favoritism from managers to a handful of employees. -Inappropriate language and behavior among some employees and managers that borderlines on a hostile working environment. -Many employees and managers are stuck in their old ways, thus not being able to compromise. I feel that for the most part it is very much "the old boys club" and often times inappropriate behavior and language is tolerated. Now this could be that many employees and managers have been with the company for a long time but it is still unacceptable. There is an open door policy within the company. However, I find this to be only policy and that there's inaction when an issue is addressed to a manager.
