Pros

Decent schedule if you can handle 12 hour shifts Benefits are above standard

Cons

Management has poor people skills Prioritizing increased production over short staff Not letting maintenance take the the time to fix and maintain machines. Always short staffed and overworked Pay increase only with "promotion" but only one trainer for technical positions Below market wages

Pros

You work with good people though not all are hard working, most are. The work schedule is what I like the most. The job itself isn't too bad, there's days where it's stressful. Benefits are OK, the pay is DECENT (for operators anyway), you get more with more training. Quarterly bonuses were good for a while now they're hit or miss, but extra money is acceptable. Quarterly Company outings are nice depending on what the shift picks.

Cons

There are cliques and it's a boy's club to an extent (depends on the building and shift). You work 12 hour shifts (not for everyone) The company pushes surveys really hard to improve worklife but it's mostly to make the company look good. The company is PE adjacent The company goes to lengths to "cut costs". Leadership is only receptive to ideas that work immediately or short term "Room for growth" is gatekeeped to an extent. You can be motivated to learn/earn more and either get put to the side, put on lines where you can't learn, or training attention is put to people like. You're not always going to be met halfway in that regard. Mind you, it depends on what shift you're on as well and how long you can be persistent.
