Pros

I gained valuable experience working in an incredibly challenging, vindictive, immature work environment. Every job since has been a dream!

Cons

Terrible, micro-managing CEO will always put client needs above employees', hence the high level of turnover. Under values everyone, especially when it comes to salary. Promotions are based on favoritism and passivity, not merit. Hires great people but then doesn't let them do a great job. No advanced SEM tools because those cost real money. Expect to always be on call, whether it's weekends or holidays or PTO. Business manager is a joke. Don't expect substantial (or sometimes any) annual/holiday bonuses.

Pros

As a small agency, you'll quickly have the opportunity to do hands-on work for a diverse and prestigious roster of clients. You can come in with no experience out of school and learn a lot very quickly. Management is super supportive of employees and will work closely with you to get up to speed and support clients. You'll get to have fairly regular conversations with the CEO and VP. They also encourage you to explore other roles within the company to expand your skillset. Company culture is excellent. Other than the directors, the staff is very young. Everyone is super friendly. The company has done a great job of supporting staff during remote work for covid. There is tons of room for growth if you're willing to put in the extra effort.

Cons

Work can be hectic, constantly jumping from client to client and project to project. Not much room to move up if you're looking to "fly under the radar" - expectations for effort are high.
