Pros
You get a company car. The buzz one gets from selling a car is great and never leaves you. The sales teams are made up of great people and you will make great life long friends.
Cons
Director level management style makes you feel that you are very much just a number and not a valued member of staff. The level of Bureaucracy in this company is of toxic proportions. You cannot make one mistake, or veer off the set process by one degree. (A system designed by someone who has probably not sold a car or hasn’t at least for the last 25 years and is not fit for purpose in todays fast moving demanding society. It is unlikely you will find one genuinely happy member of staff in this workplace, hence the high staff turnover. OTE Salary is unattainable and completely unrealistic. The new pay structure was designed to benefit the company not the sales person. (However if was sold to the sale people as benefit to them). The company is making record profits, and I am selling more cars than I ever have, with more profit that ever known, and yet I’m being paid the worst I ever have. This company is likely to cause damage to mental health.
