Pros
The products are good and sell themselves, the company offers gestures of being inclusive, such as a chillout area (a crate in the carpark) and a monthly award for the best employee. However, this always goes to the same people, this is more down to favourites, rather than who is doing a good job. Nepotism plays a large part in this. The owner knows the market and has built a good product range around this. I can't fault his vision
Cons
Did I mention nepotism? There are specific favourites who often get a special mention or win the monthly prizes. This is nothing to do with the owner. They have a special way of forcing people out who don't fit in, which means losing good talent in favour of people who will just comply. The old company reviews seem to be taken down and replaced by positive reviews (unlikely that natural reviews appear a day after each other). The micro-management is also an issue. I have never worked anywhere that watches the clock so carefully. Having to log in/out by fingerprint and being questioned about every minute last is a concept I have never faced before.
