Pros

-401k with 6% company match -health benefits -good starting pay -no related experience required -vacation days after a full year of service (which rollover if not used) -the ability to partially learn carpentry as a tradeskill

Cons

-lack of teamwork as a whole; all departments interact but with animosity -lack of leadership -family owned, cronyism rather than merit based system in place -bad adminstration and finance control; some people get thirty hours of overtime in a week and sometimes you can't work a full five day workweek despite being full time -not having the tools to complete the job, outdated machinery which breaks routinely -not having the materials to complete the job, plant in Leesport often unreasonably behind on supply deadlines -reliance on temp agencies despite the extremely low success ratio -no standardized training program, if you have a bad trainer you have sub par training and suffer -safety issues? OSHA was in the process of investigating the facility while I worked there

Pros

Great benefits and 401k. Good employees.

Cons

Management is terrible. They push out good employees & reward the ones who don't know anything. It's a shame because it just recently became that way. I had really enjoyed my job!
