Pros
Work life balance (unless you are on call) and remote work. Decent benefits. Very close teams working well together within their own sections.
Cons
No ability to influence decisions unless above directors level, especially for budget suggestions. Jumping from project to project without asking team inputs that are actually doing work. Some teams have only one person on call so they have to be always available.
