Pros
Work life balance. Some management is very good. Helpful coworkers. Healthcare is the best at any previous Corp job I've held.
Cons
The tech here is a joke. IT likes to create processes based on arbitrary requirements and set up roadblocks as if we are a big company. But this place runs SAS on a laggy VDI and schedules jobs through users' individual Linux machines like we are a mom and pop shop?.This company is an identity crisis. It has the worst of both worlds. Silo-ed easily if you don't speak up. Work fluctuates, sometimes it is slow, other times it is overwhelming. Hard to navigate internal positions (I still can't find the salary grades). Co-workers who were acquired through Well Care acquisition do not have a strong sense of job security. Had horrible laptop issues this year, all my coworkers have as well. IT is completely useless to navigate through to get a new machine issued.
