Pros
Virtual work and you get to work with agents by taking them out to meals and take them golfing on the company. Most of the time you don’t have to do a lot as long as you have good relationships with agents. Super flexible on personal time and allows people to take dogs on walks during conferences calls. Since you work from home it’s great since its acceptable to work 4 or 5 hours in a day.
Cons
If you care enough…the customer service is terrible sine you can submit the same problem over and over and it never gets solved. I have learned to let the agents do their own customer service so that when the issues don’t get resolved, I don’t look bad as though I can’t resolve the issue. The pay isn’t great either since we never meet goal. As long as you’re fine with the base and just do t care to much about helping agents or doing well in Medicare sales, WellCare is the place for you. The place is very siloed which is great way to not get anything accomplished but can be frustrating if you actually try to make improvements to the business.
