Pros
Cendyn has a feel of a different company under the new ownership and leadership team. The employees opinions/feedback are listened too much more so now. In between All Hands calls, the CEO provides frequent updates to all employees via video which I think makes a massive difference. Also seen an increase in communication from department heads regarding what they are working on which helps us understand where we are going as a company and what success we have seen. This success being shared is even more important and valuable to us with all the challenges we are facing with COVID-19. Communication wasn't Cendyn's strength previously and the improvements to the internal communications has been fantastic. But we can still improve. I like the employee recognition program where we can nominate employees that have gone above and beyond in their roles.
Cons
Still a pretty US centric/focused company. Some of the internal systems/processes still only cater for the US based employees. Improvements have been and continue to be made to act and be more global but still there is a lot more that can be done.
