Cellebrite has a deeply troubling high ego culture that many former employees have already voiced in their reviews — and rightfully so. Senior leadership demonstrates consistently inappropriate behavior with no accountability. This isn't just an isolated issue; it’s systemic, normalized, and reinforced from the top down.
The environment is cult-like, hostile to anyone not from a law enforcement background, and aggressively unwelcoming to those who bring modern business acumen or ethical expectations into the organization. If you are not an ex-cop or don’t subscribe to the "boys club" mentality, you’ll find yourself marginalized — or worse.
I was wrongfully terminated, threatened if I shared my experience, and subjected to treatment that was retaliatory and unprofessional. Harassment and retaliation are not anomalies here — they are patterns, especially for those who question unethical practices or demand respect and inclusion. Many others have experienced the same, and HR is complicit in silencing voices rather than protecting them.
Culturally, Cellebrite feels like it’s stuck 30 years in the past. Leadership behavior would be unacceptable in any modern tech company, and frankly, most would not survive outside this public sector bubble. There is also current tension regarding whether an Israeli CEO with be appointed, as this is a product led Israeli first company. HR corruption and deceitful unethical treatment of employees is evident within a high attrition and certain sales teams having turnover of as high as 80% in 2024. Most people are also new and not set up for success. Avoid at all costs, joining an ignorant and outdated company like this will become a massive career mistake.
From a business perspective, the sales organization lacks depth, discipline, and strategic focus. The team is not equipped to support the company’s push into commercial or enterprise markets. The product is highly niche, and their attempts to repackage it for broader markets feel misaligned and tone-deaf. Customers also voice how hard it is to work with Cellebrite. Pricing and positioning are completely disconnected from the realities of buyers. Culture and Values are less than 0 out of 5. The top of the sales organization is cringe worthy and have said things in front of the entire company that would be instant termination in other more respectable public corporations. Easily the most horrible and disgusting experience of my career of 20+ years. The business may also be headed for significant turbulence with rising competitors treating customers better. One big mess.
