Pros

Terrific management, flexible schedule, team environment, fun events, snacks, growing company.

Cons

Growing company, so lots of change. I happen to like change and improvement and find it exciting, but if you don't then it could potentially be considered a con.

Pros

Started late 2016. Have been drinking from the fire-hose from day one with regards to the technology, how it works, what's under the hood. I'm part of the Services team, which is a mix of Solutions Engineers (SE) and Technical Service Engineers (TSE). My role leans towards the pre-sales aspect, although we all are expected to handle customer support tickets in case of the TSE team being swamped for some reason. For an SE role, I am very happy at the amount of technical knowledge that I have to be responsible for, while also learning about new and other technologies. Head of Services team have done a great job at finding very smart people for the group, all of which have a slightly different background, bringing something different to the table. There have been some "projects of interest" that have been assigned to each SE and TSE interested in them, in order to create/improve internal tools that will improve new hire on-boarding, internal resources, and knowledge share within the team. From a career development standpoint, the "projects of interest" are a hands on way to keep things from being stagnant, however, there is a "training laundry list" of things that is aimed to get crossed off for the services team. The directors are doing a fine job too at getting us this training that will better fulfill our role. This makes for a great place to work. Haven't used medical/dental yet, however basics are covered and then some depending on the plan you choose. There isn't matching 401k, but they do have a transportation plan for commuters, where you can set aside some money pre-tax for your commute. Typical insurance benefits too, with option to extend them if you wish to pay for some more. Corporate culture is very nice, very unique mix of motivated, enthusiastic, free thinkers across the board in all offices around the globe. Open communication is great at this company too. People are very helpful and cognizant that there are a lot of moving parts, and are willing to explain their chunk that they are responsible for or that they understand best. On a day to day, office is currently in Brooklyn. If you are a motivated person, and get your work, requests, inquiries all sorted, there won't be a lot of micro-managing.

Cons

If you're looking to collect a paycheck by being a small cog in a HUGE corporate machine, where your work won't have impact, and you can float by without getting yourself or your work noticed ... ever... this isn't the place for you. If you don't want to learn new things, or are not motivated to tinker with new tools, technologies, or ways of thinking... this isn't the place for you. If you don't want to interact and learn with your peers, help them understand things that you do, get to know a little bit about them, as well as find out what gets them excited professionally, technologically, as well as on a personal level.... this place isn't for you.
