There is no pressure for performance. One can spend many years in the company without doing any value adding work. Has wide range of products and brands. If you speak Tamil you can be part of many internal conversations.
Cons
Directionless management. Continuously changing strategy. Low payscale and equally low increments. No critical evaluation of performance. Appraisals completely manager dependant. HR only good for filtering resumes and doing joining and exit formalities. Employee benefits are non existent. Managers not given decision making authority or decent responsibilities. Product development, brand, marketing and GTM strategies are done on gut feel. Completely dependant on trial and error mode of execution - try many things some might work. No data centric approach. Careless management has resulted in free riding employees in all levels of Management and function ruining the performance of entire organisation.
