Pros

You work 100% remotely so wherever you can bring your computer you can work and you can set your own hours. It's great to be able to work around my kids' schedules, work in my PJs, and have no commute. I really genuinely like everyone who works here, but I'm an introvert, so I also like that there's minimal interaction and I can just concentrate on my work. There's a ton of training videos when you first start which is a little overwhelming, but nice to have so much preparation before you even get started. The owners are really cool people. They really care about their reputation and their clients and also have a sense of humor about themselves.

Cons

You really have to have the right personality for this job. If you won't enjoy working alone every day it's not for you. Also if you worry you might have trouble focusing or motivating yourself if you're working from home, it's really not for you. Expectations are high and time management is really important. It's also really important to speak up if you have questions or if you're too overloaded

Pros

The flexibility and autonomy are the best parts of this job. If you get your work done and do it well, no one will micro-manage you or question when you're on the clock. Yes, you will be extremely busy. However, once you're trained and up to speed, you'll learn how to work efficiently. The team is extremely nice and collaborative, which is especially impressive since everyone is working from home.

Cons

You will be overwhelmed while training, but it will get better!

Pros

Working from how, so schedule was a little flexible

Cons

Owners act like they are God's gift to accounting. They treat their employees like crap. They discriminate against individuals with disabilities. Once they discover you have a disability they overload you with work and then fire you because you can't make their "results" which are to high for mot people to meet. The allow their CPAs to verbally abuse the accountants. They give you crappy videos to train you with and tell you to sink or swim and don' t allow you to ask for help. They give you over 40 hours worth of work, but do not allow you to clock any overtime, so you are working 60+ hours a week. They claim that you can work only 35 hours a week, but see above explanation. They also lie to you during the interview and say you can have a flexible schedule, but demand you stay connected and working continuously.
