Pros
A few years ago this was a pretty good place to work. This is one of the dwindling places that offer remote work. Pay is on standard with the industry for the role. Product is industry leading. It's run by mostly intelligent people - just not at the top.
Cons
Over the last year, I've watched as this place devolved from a good, transparent place to work to nothing more than a hive of lies, brown-nosing, back-stabbing, and half-truths. Based on previous reviews, it’s even worse in their Surat overseas operation. Those folks have my utmost sympathies. Over the last year, they have made an array of poor and strange hiring decisions. Mostly grandly mediocre officers with questionable qualifications and clueless outlook that have ruined the company culture and killed morale. But even before that, executives and upper management are just basically an actual family with an associated friend group of meritless brown-nosers and yes-men and women. Nepotism is rife. There are some people to this day that I have no clue what it is they actually do there. This place is so poorly run that their HR, if you can call it that, is just another member of the friend group. There is no professional growth at this company and they rarely if ever promote from within and consistently look outside the company to fill new positions. They always hire from outside. This is the hallmark of an organization that does not value its staff, professional development, or the company culture. Casepoint is run and operated like a life-long startup making whimsical, chaotic changes and just sort of trying things then seeing what sticks. There is just one chaotic change and re-organization/re-structure after another every single year that most recently, has resulted in rampant turnover in 2023/24. They will quickly and quietly abandon new or existing processes and never speak of them again. People that are highly qualified have been quietly forced out and Casepoint has made it appear like some sort of amicable parting of ways time and time again. It is absolutely shameful/disgraceful what Casepoint has quickly become. I am glad to be moving on and I highly suggest others reading this do as well. There is no future here and I will not be shocked at all if they sell the company within the next couple years. More layoffs are expected. Bewildered leadership has to rely on so many shadow consultants I’ve lost count. Oh, and you can go to as many two-faced gatherings, celebrations, dinners, happy hours, outings, and all-hands you want to. At the end of the day you’re either in the family/friend-group or you’re not. If you fall in the latter, you’re completely disposable at the whim of any inept bean counter that literally noone likes, likes working with, or know what they even do. So to the people that remain, the rank and file, you are not safe from the quiet layoffs.
