Cons
Leadership frequently misleads both employees and clients. Promises are made that the company cannot (or will not) deliver, and then employees are left to manage the fallout. Client-facing dishonesty is especially troubling: results are overstated, commitments are downplayed, and transparency is sacrificed for the sake of closing deals. Internally, the same pattern repeats—goals shift, feedback is spun, and trust erodes quickly. A culture of “say what sounds good, worry about the truth later” permeates the organization. Morale suffers when employees are pressured to support narratives they know aren’t accurate.
