Pros
There's unlimited PTO, but it's not worth the bad work-life balance. Don't be surprised when you're inundated with emails over the weekend or your time off.
Cons
Terrible onboarding and procedures- If you're new to a certain job function, don't expect a hands on approach for onboarding. You will be thrown right in the fire with very little help from your direct. This is a sink or swim company. If you choose to work here, document everything. I strongly advise that you do. There's a huge lack of transparency that goes on here and at all times you will want to protect and prepare yourself. Work-Life Balance- There seems to be a generally accepted principle or unspoken rule of anytime being time for work. Do not be surprised when you're getting reports, emails, being asked questions over the weekend and other off work times. This is the culture. Compensation- Due to the work-life imbalance previously mentioned, you won't be paid enough for it. If you do choose to work here, please keep this in mind and immediately move to the high end of your salary requirements. Benefits- There's no match for 401K and you have to wait 90 days to contribute. Benefits are mediocre at best considering what caring.com is supposed to represent.
