Abusive management. Worst I've witnessed and I've worked in Human Services over 30 years. - Professional CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Employee Review

Pros

salary and benefits - but not worth the unhappiness this place created in my life.

Cons

verbally abusive and intimidating female bosses (nurses no less). new employee training very poor and on top of it all threatening. are unclear what they expect, like to keep you on egg shells. very very political too. lack of teamwork esp. amongst fellow professionals (I found CSR's much friendlier/more helpful). most coworkers guarded and/or unfriendly, perhaps due to the unfriendly environment. perhaps even back biting each other. i also witnessed long time employee harassed and then fired, while they too were just trying to learn a new job, whose requirements weren't even that clear yet.

Pros

I have a supportive team, my leadership encourages work-life balance, the company culture is very pleasing to me, plenty of leadership presence and transparency about company happenings, and the employee benefits are phenomenal.

Cons

I genuinely don't have anything negative to say at this moment.

Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Extremely low salary for 2026. Far too much work to stay afloat. Everyone is on PTO constantly which makes training/help almost impossible. Tenured employees are unavailable majority of the time and leave unfinished work on your plate to deal with.
