Pros
Good pay rates, decent health benefits
Cons
Cares more about productivity than properly repairing vehicles. They don’t care about the customer, only how much they can save on repairs and make the vehicle look good. Management pushes for faster production then punishing techs for going to fast. Tools that were clearly failing but was still told to make it work. Everyday was a new rule or way to be more productive (cutting corners). And if we didn’t then we were reprimanded for not following the new rules that only a few people would be informed of. There is little to no room to advance. They love to lead you on for months when it comes to training, even when asked daily for months on end. They pick favorites and overlook any and almost everything that those favorite people do wrong. Things like damage that would make a vehicle fail the inspection a monday, but if that exact vehicle had an inspection on Friday it would pass due to needing to meet the production goals for the week. They changed the vacation policy 3 times while I was employed there which seems rather targeted to get someone fired because they changed it people lost their jobs for following the vacation policy, then almost immediately changed it back.
