Pros

Only 2 1)Flexible timings(really good), 2)No formals necessary(Helps to wear the same jeans and tshirt no need to invest time on ironing clothes or polish shoes One can go in sleepers also..)

Cons

1)A lot of poltics, 2)Salary has been not revised for all bands since many years. 3)Salary hike is also getting very poor every year . 4)Less or very rare onsite oppurtunities. In case if you get chance for a long term onsite you have to sign a Bond. 5)Promotions are very unfair..not time boundation ..Compnay intenstion is basically to make u work at the same dsignation until you resign ..very biased decsions by managers. 6)Rating system is justa formality...if you are managers..fav ur Good at ur yearly ratings.. 7)None of theTechnical manager thinks about your carrer planning.. In short an IT company can give an employee a good salary or good onsite oppurtunity or both..Aricent is not good in either..

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
