High turnover rate, for good reason. - Letter Carrier Canada Post Employee Review

Pros

Exercise and general autonomy were nice... the depot and company are complete messes to work for, so the job itself provided for good stress relief.

Cons

High pressure, little flexibility for new union members. Mandatory call-backs... you can deliver mail until 8pm some nights in the winter, when senior staff call in sick or refuse extra work. Management acts more like they're trying to find slip ups, more than supporting new staff. I was the last person remaning amongst my training group of 18 people, after only 6 months. It is hard to get through those first few months.
