10yIn late 2013, the company discovered that its longtime accountant was misappropriating company funds and was also not paying contractors, something that the owner immediately addressed. Still attempting to recoup those losses a few years later, the company has been largely run on a cash basis. Therefore, contractors get paid as soon as Calysto gets paid by its clients. The owners viewpoint is that its valued contractors always get paid, even when the company has to take a loss.
