Pros
The faith commitment of the university is commendable for those with a specific commitment to free grace dispensationalism. That is both a pro and a con.
Cons
The administration is so concerned about keeping student tuition low that they skimp in all other areas, particularly in staff and faculty pay. They continue to drop benefits to save money, so pay has actually decreased. Yearly reviews are structured so that nobody gets raises. Most people who love working at CU also moonlight to make ends meet, or have another source of income (retirement). There are some great, committed people at CU, who work hard for the sake of the students. Just don't expect the administration to care about the financial challenges of its staff and faculty. That's their lowest priority.
