Friendly Environment - Customer Service Representative Call Center Technology Employee Review

Very simple work, training is off the cuff in comparison to previous jobs where they had to train you for a number of days, with this one it was more like "ok this is what we do, this is who we're speaking to, this is what we say, based off what they say this is what we click on the screen." very simple and quick to the point. Call scripts were very easy to memorize given the fact that this was during the election period and you're basically repeating the same thing over and over again; the only difference being in the name of which candidate you're calling on behalf of.

One major con for me was the fact that the job posting said remote yet I had to travel to the office and I live in a different city about an hour from where I worked while also attending college full time during a pandemic, then even after all of that they tell you to have to work 4-5 shifts and if they feel your good on your own your then *qualified* to work remotely. With all due respect, this job wasn't really a challenge to anyone's intellectual or physical prowess, I believe 2 days of training was all that was needed at max and then from there they should have just let whoever wanted to work from home, work from home. I really didn't like the false advertising and as I'm getting older I'm holding companies accountable to their word. The next job I get, if it says remote and then they try to pull something once I walk through the door I'll let them know how I feel about that or just won't take the job at all, but as a broke college man sometimes we have no choice but to take what's right in front of us.
