Pros
Some great coworkers who try their best despite the leadership.
Cons
management is completely disconnected from day-to-day operations. They make decisions without consulting the people actually doing the work, leading to constant confusion and inefficiency. The leadership team changes priorities often, with little focus on ever completing anything.
Lack of Leadership: No clear direction, no accountability, and no real strategy. It often feels like leadership is just making things up as they go.
Favoritism and Nepotism: Promotions are based on who you know, not what you contribute. Hardworking employees are overlooked while friends of management get ahead. The way women are treated is significantly different than the men that report to the top. It is not an equal place.
Zero Transparency: Management hides information and refuses to communicate openly, leaving employees in the dark about important company changes. The company is in post covid market loss, yet they keep trying to say things are ok, and we are on a path to recovery. The smart people know this isnt't the case as we all await the next layoff while executives enjoy their bonuses.
High Turnover: So many talented employees leave because they’re tired of dealing with poor leadership and empty promises. Most recently seeing our latest engineering manager abrublty terminated when we all thought he was one of the better ones (they cycle in and out of here every couple years it seems), its sad to see great people be treated poorly - we all know if you disagree or get on the bad side of the SLT team, you're pretty much done for.
