Pros
Perks are pretty open access to free food (one free entree with every shift, plus cash added to Cafe Rio app each month, end of day leftovers if possible.) If you don't mind working under pressure in a fast paced environment, the job expectations are essentially very simple.
Cons
The clientele at that visit Cafe Rio can be quite particular about how you make their food and people can very picky. This makes it hard to keep up with the high volume of customers that regular flood the restaurant -- every single order is meticulously customized and you are expected to keep your work station clean which can be nearly impossible with the amount of pressure you feel to serve everyone in a timely manner. With the rate of everything happening, it's hard to act cautiously so getting burned in the restaurant is guaranteed. It's just something you get used to. Personally I have sensitive skin and the exposure to acidic, greasy foods and the caustic cleaning chemicals we use throughout and at end of shift leave me covered in rashes and irritation. Not a very strict environment but the nature of the work can be intense.
