Pros

There are some highly talented people here. Unlimited time off is a good benefit.

Cons

The creative departments outsource all of their biggest projects for branding, websites and applications because they don’t trust any of the people they hire to work on these internally. You’ll mostly be stuck doing cleanup work instead of creating anything innovative and exciting. Management will tell you what they think you want to hear instead of being honest. They don’t value loyalty, and keep those that have been here the longest underpaid. The default answer to anything within this company is “budget restraints”. The turnover is very high, and there isn’t a week that goes by where there aren’t new changes happening. People are constantly quitting or getting fired.

Pros

Peers and teammates are supportive of each other. For a digital organization, the pay was very good but I believe they've significantly reduced salaries. Some of the managers were very good.

Cons

The Caesars Digital team operated in a flat organization, where some GMs were trying to actively manage teams of 75-150 individuals. Career growth is almost non-existent as a result. C-suite management was non-existent and came from finance or hospitality backgrounds. Org success was purely tied to annual EBITDA and without understanding of how a digital/engineering organization should be run, resulting in disconnected employees (most of whom were remote), lack of scalable structure, and zero oversight.
